Working for Tilfen Land, now part of the Peabody Group, terra firma developed the design for a new public park in Thamesmead from the concept set out by Diana Bell and oversaw implementation. Gallions Park lies next to the River Thames on land left vacant from the former Royal Arsenal and connects Thamesmead’s five-kilometres of river path with Gallions Hill – a man-made view point with views across Thamesmead and London.

The hill is reflected in a series of mounds within the park itself, which also includes tree avenues, an accessible lookout hill, new woodland, meadow, amenity grass area and children’s play area and opened to the public in 2017.
