Davon graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Landscape Architecture at Kingston University London in 2014. In the same year at the University Degree Show he won the John Farmer Award for Sustainability, awarded for his undergraduate project tackling flooding on the River Dour in Dover, Kent.
Prior to university, Davon gained a retail based horticultural background working as a Garden Centre Manager for Wyevale Garden Centres in Dorking, Surrey. After graduating from University he began working as a Graduate Landscape Architect for AECOM within the Masterplanning and Landscape Architecture department assisting in the production of illustrative concept masterplans for a number of hotels and resorts in locations such as Bahrain, Malta and Mauritius. He also worked closely on some detailed design stages and CAD drawing packages for a Four Seasons Hotel in Montenegro and a Hyatt Hotel in Mallorca.
He began working as an Assistant Landscape Architect with terra firma in April 2016. Since joining terra firma Davon has assisted in landscape design and detailed cad drawings for projects including Bohunt School in Woking, the Green School for Boys, a new secondary school in Isleworth and a new public space opposite the BBC Television Centre in White City, London. Recently Davon has jointly worked on a Strategic Development Framework for Houghton Regis in Central Bedfordshire with planning consultants and urban designers Place-Make to look at infrastructure opportunities for an imminent increase in residential housing from 7000 to 14,000 properties.
He has also worked on a number of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments/Appraisals prior to design stages for projects such as Lythe Hill Hotel near Haslemere, Gordon’s School near Woking and Chart Hills Golf Club in Kent.
