Nicola joined terra firma in 2021 after several years working as a freelance landscape architect, following a career break to look after her family.
Specialising in landscape planning work, she carried out numerous LVIA and Environmental Statements for a number of private landscape architecture consultancies, including terra firma.
Prior to her freelance work, Nicola worked for a variety of private landscape consultancies and local authorities in the UK and overseas. These included a leading landscape architecture practice in Auckland, New Zealand, where she was involved in a wide range of landscape planning schemes, including wind farms, mining and road developments, as well as private residential dwellings.
